Piripenguins

‘Piripenguins’ is a new 2D/CG-animated comedy is a funny, pacy, sitcom-inspired show, targeted at 5–8-year-olds. Produced by UK-based Eaglet Films together with Red Monk Studio (Italy) and Wild Child Animation (Scotland), the show has been commissioned by BBC and RAI, alongside the UK Global Screen Fund – financed by the UK Government’s Department for Culture, Media and Sport and administered by the BFI.

Starring a cheerful, fun and funny colony of penguins enjoying life to the fullest on a remote floating iceberg, they’re not like any penguins you’ve met before! Whether showcasing their flippertastic skills ‘above berg’ or relaxing together inside their underground ice caves, the penguins love having fun with their best mates.

The series centres on five lively penguins, each with distinctive personalities and voiced by a diverse cast. Life on the iceberg throws up lots of challenges and funny situations for Pancake, Nugget, Brinicle, Looph and Flutter, from facing up to vertigo-inducing ice slides, to dealing with a whale with toothache, coping with pop music mayhem from a flotsam jukebox, and sharing an ice-cave with the World’s Messiest Penguin. Along the way these flippered friends learn about life, friendship, and above all, themselves.
