TECHNICAL ANIMATOR

Red Monk Studio is looking for a TECHNICAL ANIMATOR to join our team on a series in production!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • confoAnimation: for each shot, conversion of assets from animation step to render step through proprietary pipeline tools
  • fixAnimation: animation retakes on characters, props or rooms
  • problem solving: deal with animation issues such as compenetrations, lip-sync, hook-ups etc…
  • communicate with the team: ability to interface with animation, FX and lighting departments for tracking the issues described and interact with TDs and Supervisor
  • organize your work and prepare the presentation elements for the daily validations

WHAT WE NEED

  • At least 1 year experience on Maya in a similar position
  • Previous experience preferred in the production of 3D animated series or feature films
  • Good knowledge of 3D rigging principles
  • Knowledge of 3D animation production pipelines and technical constrains
  • The ability to anticipate, communicate and troubleshoot technical issues with Production
  • Provide solutions to creative briefs through existing tools & processes
  • Willing to learn, and contribute to the success of the team and project with the ability to listen and be open to all feedback given

Starting in early September

Duration of the missoin of 7 months, in our studio in Milan
